The responsibility of the maintenance of your home is shared by Urban Communities and you.

Urban Communities, on behalf of the Office of Housing, is responsible for the repair and replacement of fixtures to your home.

You are responsible for repairing any damage caused by negligence or careless actions by yourself, by members of your household, or by pets and guests in your home.

You can let us know of any repairs that need to carried out to your home by:

• Contacting the Urban Communities office on (03) 9371 2000 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday
• Calling in to our office at 42 Derby Street, Kensington
• Calling the Office of Housing Maintenance Call Centre on 131172 (24 hours)
• Requesting non-urgent repairs by email to tenant.maintenance@dhs.vic.gov.au
